Turn on a Mac

There are two ways to turn on a Mac, depending on which model you have:

In older models that have a monitor and CPU combined as one unit, there is a switch on the back of the computer. You would turn on the computer using the switch. In newer models that are equipped with an extended keyboard, there is a key in the upper right corner with the tip of an arrow pointing left. Pushing this key turns on the computer.
